PwC’s 2026 AI Jobs Barometer reports a 62% average wage premium for jobs asking for AI skills. That is a labour-market comparison. It does not mean adding an AI tool to your day will increase your salary by 62%. Roles, experience, location, and employer demand still matter.
Daily users report more benefits.
In PwC’s 2025 workforce survey, 52% of daily generative-AI users reported salary benefits, compared with 32% of infrequent users. That is an association in survey responses, not proof that AI alone caused a pay rise.

Choose a real task. Show the starting point, your AI-assisted process, your checks, and the result. A repeatable workflow and sound judgment give a manager more to evaluate than a list of tools you have tried.
